Hello everyone!

It is with a light and buoyant heart I announce that Mysore SF is closed. After more than a decade teaching Mysore in San Francisco I have decided to switch gears and formally study Ayurveda under the guidance of Dr Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This has been on my mind for close to twenty years. The time has come

Stay tuned for a new website and future changes

Tonya will remain teaching in SF. Please contact tsruddick@gmail.com for details.

Thank you to all students past and present that have walked through the doors of my school. This last decade would not have been the same without you, your energy and presence.

All my love,
Mags 🙏

Mysore SF focuses on the traditional Ashtanga Yoga teachings as taught by the Jois family. Through specific guidance and keen attention to detail, practitioners learn the breathing system and Tristhana method that’s at the heart of this system of yoga.

Mysore SF was founded in 2011 by Magnolia Zuniga, San Francisco’s only certified teacher and one of seventeen women in the world to hold this level of certification.

All classes are taught by Authorized Level 2 teacher Tonya Ruddick. Come with a commitment to practice daily, an appetite for self discovery, transformation, and an open heart. Mysore SF is located at the center of the financial district in San Francisco, CA. See you soon.

Aug 25, 2018 – Magnolia’s personal statement regarding #metoo and sexual assault/harassment allegations against Pattabhi Jois, Swami Satyananda Saraswati and BSY disciples.

Since the metoo movement began, I’ve been considering various ways in which I can put support into practice for victims of sexual assault & harassment, not only by Pattabhi Jois but also by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, and his disciples. Consequently, I will no longer support, enable, or host teachers that dismiss or minimize allegations or those that claim ignorance or justify PJ’s actions in any way.
